Approach & Techniques

Hypnosis allows for deep self-exploration and those who are open and receptive to the process will be a great candidate. The key is that you want the change. It is a collaborative process and you need to be motivated and committed to achieving your therapy goals.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

What is clinical hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis refers to a state of focused attention and heightened internal awareness.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a holistic therapy that focuses on deep healing and relaxation used to treat a wide range of medical and psychological conditions. Once this relaxed and comfortable state of hypnosis has been achieved, the use of breathing, powerful suggestions, guided imagery, regression, and therapy begins.

The mind becomes open to letting go of old habits and negative thought patterns, creating new and positive ones.

Despite common misconceptions about hypnosis, you remain fully in control and aware of what is happening around you. In fact, hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of consciousness, something we experience multiple times throughout the day.

Hypnotherapy is not about being made to do things, in fact it is the opposite, it is about empowerment.

Hypnotherapy is a valuable tool that has been used for many decades now, with outstanding success.

It is a natural state and is completely safe and very effective.

What is strategic psychotherapy?

Strategic Psychotherapy is a solution-orientated approach.

It's about identifying ineffective patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving and then helping to find a way to change these patterns, creating positive change.

Aiming to bring the client to a point of understanding, working on new skills and processes to overcome the issues they are dealing with.

The aim is to work toward goals in a short amount of time. Results can be achieved in as few as 4–6 sessions, unlike other forms of therapy that can take weeks, months or years.

Then using hypnosis, once the client is in their relaxed state they are more receptive to suggestion, the therapist can then deliver these new effective patterns.
